San Felipe- Mexico

San Felipe is located on the Sea of Cortez two hours south of the U.S/Mexican border at Calexico, CA
and Mexicali, Baja. It is a town literally located between the desert and the sea. The former fishing
village has now become a weekend getaway and retirement community. The town's population
depends on "snowbirds" (retirees who usually come for between 2-6 months a year), but is usually in
the 22,000-26,000 range.
Most people come to San Felipe for it's weather. You can leave San Diego (five hours away) and enjoy
weather 10-15 degrees warmer most of the year, except July, August, and part of September when the
temperature can reach well over 100F some days. The Sea of Cortez is also warmer than the Pacific
side of the Baja peninsula. The area also experiences one of the largest tidal variations in the world
sometimes up to 20 feet.

San Felipe has hotels in all ranges of accommodation. You won't find any five star or grand turismo
resorts in this sleepy village, but you will find four star lodging all the way down to budget inns. Home
and condo rentals on the beach are available too. The town is more or less compact so most of the
hotels are within walking distance of the downtown area.
Belize

An adventurer's paradise, Belize
is your peaceful,
English-speaking neighbor only
two hours away from 3 major
U.S. Gateways. With a diversity
of adventure opportunities
unmatched by any other country,
the Belize people have
protected 40% of the country as
parks and natural reserves.

Belize is on the Caribbean
coast, nestled between Mexico
and Guatemala and offers an
intriguing mix of tropical forests
rich with wildlife, majestic 3,675
foot mountains, mysterious
Maya temples, and diving and
fishing experiences beyond
compare.In a single day you
can go from tropical forest to the
longest barrier reef in the
Western Hemisphere.
Puerto Rico

Imagine living in a large city and having a beautiful beach as your back yard.
That is exactly what the million or so residents of San Juan enjoy every day.
There's no need to go far to enjoy a beautiful tropical day at the beach.

Isla Verde Beach is actually a series of beaches stretching for miles in front
of luxury resorts and posh high-rise residential apartments, restaurants
and private clubs, guesthouses and private homes, parks, and even a
cemetery!

A tranquil place during the week, Isla Verde really comes alive on
weekends. Beach lovers stream in from everywhere to get some sun,
splash in the sea, party with family and friends, play beach volleyball, or
walk along the sandy shores. There is no shortage of places to eat or drink.
Many hotels and restaurants have bars and casual restaurants adjacent to
the beach.

While most visitors soak up the sun reading, napping, or taking a lazy stroll
in the surf line, the more adventurous go parasailing, bodysurfing, water
skiing and jet skiing, or participate in many of the other water sports offered
by the hotels and seaside shops.

Depending on the hour of the day and the day of the week, Isla Verde can
be anything from a solitary stretch of glistening sand to a Coney Island
crowd of happy sun worshippers, but it is always a delight.

Mississippi

Mississippi is a classic state of the Deep
South. The state capital, Jackson, is its
largest city. In addition to the State Capitol
building, Jackson is also home to many
museums, such as the Mississippi Museum
of Art, which contains the state's largest art
collection, and the National Agricultural
Aviation Museum. The two major cities along
the Mississippi Gulf Coast are Biloxi and
Gulfport. This area is a Mecca for
beach-lovers, gambling enthusiasts and
fishermen. The waters of the Gulf of Mexico
lap the shore while the lights of moored
casinos, such as the Boomtown Casino in
Biloxi, sparkle. Numerous fishing trips and
charters are available in Biloxi and Gulfport
year-round. The University of Mississippi, or
Ole Miss as it is fondly nicknamed, is located
in Oxford. Also situated in North Mississippi
is the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum
in Tupelo. Historic Vicksburg lies on the
shores of the Mississippi River with many
bed and breakfast inns and the Vicksburg
National Military Park.
